The Match & Mirror Photobooth Co. ("we," "us," or "our") is a photo booth company based in Virginia Beach, VA. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, inquire about or book an event, receive text messages from us, or use one of our photo booths, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

When you inquire or book

Our inquiry forms ask for your name, email address, phone number, how you heard about us, and details about your event, like the date, venue, guest count, and the booth and add-ons you're interested in. If you book, we also collect what we need to prepare your contract, invoices, and event plan. Our forms, proposals, contracts, and payments run through HoneyBook, our client management platform.

When you pay

Payments are processed through HoneyBook and its payment processors. We never see or store your full card or bank account numbers.

At your event

Our booths capture photos, GIFs, boomerangs, and videos of guests who choose to use them. Guests who want their captures sent to them can enter a phone number or email address at the booth, or scan a QR code. If you add the Audio Archive, we also record the voice messages your guests leave.

When you visit our website

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and running. Our inquiry forms are provided by HoneyBook, which may use cookies to make the forms work.

How we use your information

• To answer your inquiry, check our availability, and send proposals.
• To plan, staff, and deliver your event, including coordinating with your venue and planner.
• To send photos, videos, and galleries to you and your guests.
• To send booking reminders, event details, and follow-up messages.
• To keep business, tax, and contract records.
• To improve our services.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number on an inquiry form or at the booth, we may text you about your inquiry, booking, event, or photos. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Event photos and our portfolio

Our client agreement allows us to use event photos in our portfolio, website, and social media. If you're a guest and would like a photo of you removed from anything we've posted, contact us and we'll take it down.

Online galleries stay available for 60 days after the event, and can be password-protected on request.

How we share information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run our business, such as HoneyBook for inquiries, contracts, and payments, our photo booth software and gallery provider for capturing and delivering photos, our texting service for messages, and our website host. Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We may also share information when required by law or to protect our rights.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as we need them for your event and for our business, tax, and legal records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we'll do so unless we're required to keep it.

Your choices

• Ask what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
• Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts.
• Ask us to remove a photo of you from our website or social media.

Security

We use reputable platforms and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care with what you share with us.

Children

Our website and inquiry forms are meant for adults planning events. We don't knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
